This notice explains what fruitbodies handles, why it is needed, and what becomes public only when a grower deliberately publishes it.

Information handled

Account information includes your email address, display name, and a private account identifier. We do not store readable passwords. Growers may add cultures, grows, harvests, inventory, rooms, sanitation, customers, suppliers, sales, expenses, files, settings, feedback, and team memberships. The service also records limited error and activity information needed to operate and protect the app.

How it is used

Information is used to provide your farm records, synchronize authorized devices, calculate schedules and statistics, secure accounts, answer support requests, and diagnose failures. We do not sell your records or use them for targeted advertising.

Private farm access

Private records are available only to active members of that farm. Owners control roles, invitations, removal, ownership transfer, and recovery-code creation. Operational records remain private even when a grower creates a public page.

Public grower pages

Public pages are off by default. An Owner or Manager must publish the profile and each gallery card, choose each visible fact, and select each photograph. Rooms, customers, costs, suppliers, private notes, filenames, account details, and private record identifiers are never shown there. Hiding the profile also hides its cards and selected media.

Security and abuse prevention

Uploaded files and private farm tools require authorization. Sign-in, recovery, and public pages are protected against repeated automated requests. Recovery keys are shown once and stop working after use, replacement, ownership transfer, or expiration.

Service providers

fruitbodies relies on hosted database, file-storage, delivery, and security infrastructure to operate. Those providers process only the information needed to supply their services. If you voluntarily support development, Stripe processes your contact, payment, billing, and receipt information. fruitbodies may receive the payment amount, status, and contact details needed to answer a billing question, but does not receive your full card number.

Your choices

Owners can download farm records alone or as a complete backup that also includes original uploaded media. Members can leave farms they do not own. Account access can be deleted after owned farms are transferred; this removes memberships but does not erase records that belong to a continuing farm. Additional requests can be made through Support.

Retention

Farm records remain until an authorized user changes or deletes them or an account-level request is completed. Security counters are short-lived. Audit, backup, and recovery material may be retained as needed to protect farm integrity and complete requested recovery or deletion work.

Children

fruitbodies is a general-audience farm and mycology tool and is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 13.
