These terms describe how fruitbodies may be used and what growers can expect from the service.
Who may use fruitbodies
You must be at least 13 and able to agree to these terms. Farm owners are responsible for the people they invite and for keeping at least one valid owner and a saved recovery key.
Your records and content
You keep ownership of the records and photographs you submit. You allow fruitbodies and its hosting providers to store, process, back up, and display that material only as needed to operate the service and follow your publishing choices. You are responsible for having permission to upload and publish it.
Private and public information
Farm records are private unless an authorized Owner or Manager deliberately publishes selected profile, gallery, data, or photo fields. Public material may be copied or shared by visitors. Remove sensitive details before publishing and hide the profile to prevent future access through fruitbodies.
Acceptable use
Do not use fruitbodies to break laws, access another farm, impersonate a grower, distribute malware, overload the service, publish another person’s private information, or arrange prohibited biological material, species, food, or shipping activity. You remain responsible for applicable cultivation, workplace, food-safety, tax, sales, transport, and biological-material rules.
Websites, stores, and external links
Growers are responsible for every website, product, claim, and offer they link from fruitbodies. External links must comply with applicable laws and may not promote controlled substances, unlawful sales, fraud, or unsafe products. fruitbodies may hide a link or public profile when needed to protect visitors or comply with law. A link does not mean fruitbodies endorses, verifies, or participates in the linked business.
No professional advice
Schedules, calculations, labels, forecasts, and community records are organizational tools—not biological-safety, medical, food-safety, legal, tax, or regulatory advice. Verify critical decisions against qualified guidance and your own measurements.
Service availability
Features may change or become temporarily unavailable. Keep current exports of important records. fruitbodies may restrict abusive traffic or suspend access needed to protect growers, farms, or the service.
Voluntary support
Tips and monthly support are optional payments for the continued availability and development of fruitbodies; they are not charitable donations. Supporting the project does not change access to farm records, backups, privacy protections, or core growing tools. Stripe handles checkout and recurring billing. A monthly contribution continues at the amount and interval shown at checkout until it is canceled through Stripe or by contacting Support. Contact Support if a payment was made in error.
Ending access
You may leave farms you do not own or delete account access after transferring owned farms. Owners control continuing farm records and member access. fruitbodies may end access for serious or repeated misuse while preserving reasonable export and account-review paths.
Questions and changes
Material term changes will update the effective date. Use Support for account questions and review the Privacy notice for data handling.
